Untitled Collage

by Despy Boutris

2021, Illustration and Collage

In the foreground of the collage is a large, naturalistic-style illustration of a light-skinned, blonde-haired woman looking upward. Half of her face is visible, and we can see that she has thin eyebrows, long dark eyelashes, flushed skin, and red lips. She is turned to the side, and her body cuts off at her shoulders, which extend to the bottom of the collage. The woman’s blonde hair is shoulder length and styled with loose curls. She is wearing a black collared shirt with red stripe details down the top of the sleeves. Her eyes point upward to the top of the collage, which is painted a golden yellow. The top of the collage is covered in small stars drawn with a black sharpie. In the top centre of the collage is a circle, outlined with a sharpie that resembles a moon. The circle is white.
