In this watercolour painting, two pairs of hands put two necklaces on a woman in yellow clothes. One of the necklaces is a cylindrical shape with blue stones embedded in it. The other necklace is the hamsa or hand symbol. The background includes colourful floral motifs, including lotus flowers, leaves, pomegranates, and Keri or paisley shapes on a black background.

Nimra Bandukwala is a Pakistani visual artist and Master's student in Occupational Therapy based in Canada and the UK. She is interested in the intersections of making, storytelling, and well-being. She co-leads Reth Aur Reghistan with her sister, Manahil, a project that engages with folklore from Pakistan through sculpture and poetry.
